Anthony Lycenko is an industry recognised record producer, recording engineer and mixer having worked both within Australia and abroad for over 20 years now.

Throughout the 90’s, Anthony cut his teeth as an assistant and house engineer in some of the UK’s most prestigious recording studios, including both Metropolis and Mayfair. He worked alongside some of the very best producers and engineers, including Arif Mardin (Aretha Franklin, The Bee Gees, Norah Jones), Geoff Emerick (The Beatles, Elvis Costello), Chris Hughes (Tears For Fears), Garth Richardson (Rage Against The Machine), Randy Staub (Metalica, Bon Jovi) and Steve Osbourne (U2, Placebo), making albums for artists as diverse as U2, Sinead O’Connor, Elvis Costello, David Bowie, The Pet Shop Boys, Pulp and Suede.

Upon returning to Australia in early 1998 he relocated to Byron Bay becoming chief engineer and studio manager at Rockinghorse Studios. In late 2003 Anthony made the transition to freelance and began focussing on the development of unsigned artists.

Now, 13 years on and countless recording sessions later, he continues to make albums for both independent artists and more established record company acts, with a number of his clients, including Pete Murray and Busby Marou, having achieved either platinum or gold certified releases here in Australia.

His production, engineering and mixing work has been recognised with ARIA, and Golden Guitar nominations and Queensland Music and Music Oz Awards.

He also lectures at Griffith University as part of their Bachelor of Popular Music Degree and SAE Qantm Byron Bay.
